Gally Laments For Road View

The following is a comment posted in The Nation (online edition) to one of the recent news articles which appeared in that paper about the beach disaster in Road View/Mullins. I know the poster and share his pain. I am re-posting it here unedited to highlight it and for the benefit of those in Road View/Mullins who also know him and may have missed it when it appeared nearly two weeks ago.

BEACH EROSION : 5/31/2009
AFTER READING THIS STORY I FELT SAD ,GREW UP IN ROAD VIEW PLAYED ALL OF MY SPORTS IN BANISTER TREES ,PLAYED BEACH CRICKET /JUMPING POLES SAND SURF AND MANY OTHER THINGS WE DID ON THAT BEACH IT HURT MY HEART TO SEE WHAT BAJAN LAND OWNERS DID SOLD THEIR SOLE FOR THIS .I KNEW ONE DAY IT WILL HAPPEN NO LAND FOR THE KIDS TO GALLIVANT ON NO TREES TO COL OUT IN OH LORD SAVE ROA VIEW BEACH LAND ,WHEN I GET BACK HOME I NEED SOME BECH TO TRAVELL ON
