This time the alarm is being raised about the condition of the beach just over a mile up the coast at Sandy Street in Speightstown. As CBC reported yesterday - Play Video:
"A Speightstown businessman says he has lost thousands of dollars as a result of beach erosion in the area.
Daniel Warnock-Smith who manages Caspian Beach Apartments at Sand Street, says his property and the surrounding area, has suffered significant damage from wave activity and this has caused customers to turn away.
Mr. Warnock-Smith is concerned about large cracks in the street which he says could pose a danger to drivers and pedestrians."
