Karaoke Nights

Nights in the Mullins Bay area just got a little more exciting now that there is Karaoke at least three (3) nights a week. Wednesday and Saturday nights the action is at The Chattel House Bar & Grill - the latest addition to the food and beverage/entertainment establishments in the area, and on Thursday nights the venue switches a few hundred yards up the street to the Sunset Bar & Grill which opened just over a year ago next door to the East Moon Chinese Restaurant. The Chattel House Bar & Grill is located across the street from The Great House and the abandoned Kings Beach Hotel in Road View, St. Peter.

A healthy mix of locals and visitors turnout at night between 8:00 pm and 2:00 am to join in the sing-a-longs which keep the bars and grills busy. The food itself is local grill cuisine featuring grilled fish, grilled chicken, etc., with rice and peas, macaroni and cheese, potato chips (fries), etc. Of course, if Karaoke is not your fancy, Fisherman’s Pub a mile north in Speightstown still has its long established live entertainment on Wednesday nights also. Even further north at Moontown in Half Moon Fort, St. Lucy there is Karaoke on Friday nights, but the biggest Karaoke night of the week by far on the West Coast is still Sunday night on First Street in Holetown which pulls the largest crowds again made up of locals and visitors, and of course, Holetown has its share of fine restaurants the equal of any in St. Lawrence Gap on the south coast.
