Although it does not bear the name of the town on which it is centered, Speightstown, as is the case of the other two better known festivals - the Holetown Festival and the Oistins Festival - the St. Peter Festival which runs this year from June 21 - 29 is no less as exciting. This year’s events which are already in full swing include: a church service, scenic bus tours of the parish, a Royal Barbados Police Force Tattoo, a celebrity cricket match, a Karaoke contest, a beauty contest and a 2-day street fair in Speightstown.
