West Coast Blog: Beach Club For The "Uber-Rich & Uber-Cool" Coming To Mullins Beach
Little Books with Big Subjects – Hakai Magazine
17 hours ago
As owners of a property a few yards from Mullins Beach, for the past few years, we are sadened and angered by the dominating presence of Westmorland, who, instead of putting sunbeds out as needed, have selfishly hogged the beach with them , often unused, so the locals and long standing local owners are forced to use one end of the beach or the other.
ReplyDeleteIf this trend is to be allowed to continue, with other developments being allowed to operate in this way, the desirable area of Mullins, for those who have invested in the immwediate area will be lost.
The Government simply must act to protect the charcter of the beach, for all, including those who have already made a committment to the area, and not a few new comers who buy in land locked resorts.
It seems they want to buy in Land, and still want to own the beach, taking it from those who have already made their first or second home there!!!
