Fisherman's Pub, Speightstown & Clement Armstrong

"Ironically, it was information he uncovered about Speightstown while doing research for his first Crop-Over band at the Barbados Museum, that unleashed a passion to see the historic town restored to its former glory.
Armstrong talks about Fort Denmark, Fort Orange, Fort Coconut and the eight cannons which he said are no longer visible. He also laments that hotel development has robbed Barbadians of the "lovely excursion beach" that was once Queen Street Beach.
Though he was included in a Speightstown Task Force in 1982 and served on other committees seeking to find direction for Speightstown infrastrucure, he is unhappy about progress..."
